Established in the year 1973, Hardware & Pneumatics is a partnership firm based in Kolkata, engaging in distribution and supply of a wide assortment of industrial, pneumatic and hydraulic products, while also providing innovative engineering solutions to all our clients.

Our Legacy

Hardware & Pneumatics was established on 22nd May, 1973 by Shk. Mohsin Yusufally Masalia, an extremely hardworking, sincere and enterprising individual, along with his able sons Mr Saifee, Mr Khuzaim and Mr Bakir Masalia.

Having left his native place Sidhpur (a town in Gujarat), at the young age of 18, Mohsin bhai came to Calcutta in 1943. He worked as an employee at A.N Hussunally & Co, where his sincerity and enterprising nature led him to rise the ranks, and eventually was promoted as a partner at the firm.

But, having a lifelong ambition of starting his own company, he used his 30 years of experience in the industrial product and fluid power line, to launch his dream venture alongside his sons.

In 1973, when fluid power application in India was still at a very primitive stage, our company was incorporated and began by trading and supplying hardware tools and accessories, before gradually shifting full time into industrial, pneumatic and hydraulic product supply.

Since then, our gradual rise, also now supported by his fifth son, Mr Taher Masalia, led us to open a second establishment in Visakhapatnam in 1983.

Today, both our establishments in Kolkata and Visakhapatnam are run and managed by the 2nd and 3rd generation, and the whole family has helmed the company and taken it to even greater heights.

We have a two level 4000+ sq ft showroom+workshop+godown, at the hub of industrial commodity market in Strand Road, which helps us keep a large stock inventory range, as well as test our products in our workshop prior sale or dispatch.

We boast of a team of dedicated and skilled professionals who assist us in procurement, testing and dispatching materials in the best possible manner. All our partners and employees have a sound knowledge of the industry and keep track of the changing trends of the market.
